Peanut Butter and Chocolate Protein Fat Bombs

When looking for recipes for fat bombs, most of what I could find didn’t have the addition of protein powder in the mix. Since I wanted these to essentially be meal replacers, I ended up closing the browser and winging it in my kitchen. The results were so delicious that I ended up writing it down.

1/2 cup 0 carb DIESEL protein powder (French vanilla)
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 cup coconut oil + 2tbsp coconut oil for chocolate
1/2 cup low-carb chocolate chips
Directions
- Melt coconut oil in the microwave, or a double boiler if you’re super fancy (I’m not)
- Mix natural peanut butter and coconut oil; ensure the peanut butter is fully melted, this can take a lot of mixing
- Add protein powder to the mix and stir
- Pour into mold of your choice and refigerate (you can use a freezer, but it might bubble, so the fridge is a good choice). Leave in fridge/freezer for at least an hour before the next step
- Melt chocolate chips – can take several times to get it right. Mix in the coconut oil
- Once fully melted, pour on top of the prior layer than put back in the fridge for 1 hour
- Once fully cold (after a day) put in a container or bag to keep fresh
